Diego Bogarín is currently a Professor of Biology at the University of Costa Rica and the Lankester Botanical Garden. His research interests include orchid biology, evolution, in-situ conservation, digital plant documentation, and phylogenomics of Orchidaceae. Diego is currently the Editor-in-chief of Lankesteriana – International Journal on Orchidology and a Research Associate with the herbarium UCH, Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí, Panama, and the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, the Netherlands.
